Graduated in an University which was an impossible mission to me. In 2014, my boyfriend returned from his mission and went to BYUH to study. Meanwhile, we were having long distance relationship between Hong Kong and Hawaii. He persuaded me to apply for college so many times; however, I did not want it. At that moment, I thought earning working experience is far more important than getting higher education.

In November, 2015, I went to Hawaii to visit my boyfriend and he proposed to me. He said he wanted me to come to be with him until he graduated (it was about a year), then we would go back Hong Kong. So, I accepted his proposal.

After he proposed to me, I was wondering what I should do for that one year. (Because I was going to get a F-2 visa which I cannot work in U.S.) Just sleep and cook? Therefore, I prayed about it in the temple. I asked the Lord if thou want me to study in a college, please help me to pass the English proficiency test (IELTS). Even I asked the Lord about it, I did not just wait for the answer. I tried my best to study to get good score.

The IELTS test was a miracle. I was not good at reading part. I just had an hour to finish reading three articles and answer the questions. The first article was about Music. OMG, I just took less than 10 minutes to finish the first part. However, I spent a lot of time on doing the second part, which was about history…… (I hate history!) Then, I heard, “15 minutes left”. Oh my goodness, I turned to the last part, it was about music again!! I can feel the Lord was helping me! I got good score on IELTS and I got accepted from BYUH.

I cannot imagine that I can graduate at the same school with my husband.
I cannot imagine that I can graduate in a college when I was 30 years old.
I cannot imagine that I gained a lot of experience from a college.

Nothing is impossible, if you have desire to do it.
